1: Open Your Scene
- Launch Renderpub Studio.
- Open the scene you want to work by choosing its path or create a new one.

- Use the move and rotate tools to position and orient the light as needed.
4: Adjust Light Properties
-
Access the properties or settings for the selected light source.
-
Modify properties such as intensity, spread, temperature, and source radius/length. These settings control how the light interacts with the scene.
-
Pay attention to the direction and angle of the light to achieve the desired illumination.
- Spot lights
- Adjust the Inner cone and outer cone angles. These help in widening or narrowing the effects of spotlights.
- Increase the intensity as required.
- Alter the spread of the light as necessary.
- Change the temperature to match the scene’s mood.
- Use the Source radius to smooth the light’s fall off.
- You can also choose to enable or disable shadows as required.
- Point Lights
- Similar to spot lights and area lights, proceed to alter the intensity , spread, temperature and source radius.
- Notice how source length alters the way the light affect the scene.
- Area Lights
- Rotate and position the light as required.
- Change the source width and source height to control the size of the light. Note that a smaller size leads to sharper lighting.
- Area light comes with additional constraints such as the Barn door. Alter the size and angle properties to constrain the fall of the light.
