In more advanced software, users can often select multiple objects at once by holding down a specific key (e.g., Shift) or using a different selection mode. This is useful for making changes to several objects simultaneously.
Duplication of any object can be accomplished via the shortcut Alt+Click or Alt+Drag. Duplication of an object results in all material properties and object properties being the same in the duplicated object.
Right clicking anywhere in the viewport brings into display a little set of options that we commonly refer to as the context menu.
