🗒️ The outliner is a user interface element that serves as a hierarchical list or tree view of all the objects and elements present in your 3D scene. This hierarchy is sorted by Last Added.

You can use the outliner to select and manipulate objects within the scene. Clicking on an item in the outliner highlights the corresponding object in the 3D view, allowing for quick selection and editing.
The outliner provides a straightforward way to control the visibility of objects. You can toggle the visibility of objects on and off directly from the outliner, simplifying the management of complex scenes.
Note that you can also control the visibility of objects, lights etc via their respective properties panels.
In Renderpub Studio, you could group objects together within a layer or across layers. Grouping objects is useful for treating them as a single unit, making it easier to move or manipulate multiple objects simultaneously.
View the Viewport Controls and Shortcuts for more information regarding Grouping and the context menu (left)
Objects can be multi-selected using the Outliner by Shift-Clicking the desired objects. The same action can be accomplished without the Outliner, via the Viewport.
